Evan & Mary's Engagement Shoot

A blast from the past!

Evan and I went to high school together in Georgia (where I'm from). We both played the cello in orchestra and definitely had some good times together back in the day :-)

I was so happy to hear that Evan got engaged to Mary and that he wanted me to take their engagements! What a great excuse to get together again! AND I got to meet Mary!

We took these engagements at Old Town Alexandria, Virginia which is a beautiful, historic location with lots of old buildings and fun textures.

We had to battle torrential down poors right before the shoot (I'm talking, stepping into knee-deep water in the roads- whew!) but thankfully it stopped and we were able to shoot. :-)
