Chris & Christina's Wedding

These two!! Oh man, it was such a privilege to do the photography and create Christina's bridal bouquet for their wedding day! The day was filled with tons of laughter, hilarious guests, and some of the best dance moves I've ever seen ;-)

Their first look, Chris in uniform, and Christina's blush wedding gown definitely were highlights, from a photography standpoint. Love!

We had perfect weather at the start of the day... then it snowed about 6-7 inches later that evening. Wow!

Chris and Christina had their ceremony in the Washington D.C. LDS temple. Photographers are not allowed inside the LDS temple so there are no photos of their actual ceremony.

They did, however, have a ring ceremony for all the guests who could not attend the temple. They exchanged beautiful, heartfelt vows with each other - had me tearing up! Hah!

The reception and ring ceremony we located at Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket, VA. We got some terrific shots outside the venue during cocktail hour!

One of the most unique things about their reception was "The Newlywed Game" where they each took off their shoes and gave one shoe to each other. They sat back to back.

The DJ (John with Black Tie Entertainment) would ask them questions and they would each raise the shoe of who would best fit the question. It was hilarious and got all the guests laughing! Questions were something like: Who fell in love first? Who is more likely to win an argument? Who wants kids first? Etc. This was so creative and I've never seen this done at a wedding reception before. Love it!

Chris and Christina danced all night with their guests. There were some SERIOUS dancers there that night ;-)

I absolutely LOVED IT! These types of wedding are my very favorite!

Congrats you two! What a day to remember! I'm so thrilled I got to be a part of it!
